About Us

The historic journey of laying down the seeds of Pitty Sarees started in 1976, with a meager loan amount of Rs.10,000 taken from their relatives only. This sure wasn’t enough to lay down the foundation of such a big empire, but with God’s grace and diligent efforts of Mr. Ramdeo ji Pitty and Mr. Surendra Kumar Pitty, their success story triggered on.
In these beautiful 46 years, a brand name PITTY SAREES was created, with clients swearing by its name for supreme quality.

25 years before, when noone had even touched the world of advertising for cotton printed Sarees, they started ad shooting of sarees with models to create awareness through the print media.
With Indrani Haldar being their brand ambassador since the beginning, they have chosen beautiful Bengali ladies with enchanting persona for their modeling stints. These include the likes of Bipasha Basu, Koena Mitra, Paoli Dam,(add more names),
Mishti Chakravarty being the most recent one.
All this and more to advertise through the print medium, majorly in the Bengali daily newspaper Anandbazaar Patrika and the most famous magazine in the Bengali community, Sananda.

Everyone wonders, how they are able to get the exact taste of this culture so much so that their designs are such a big hit in the entire Eastern region of India.
They owe their success entirely to pure hard work and no compromise attitude in terms of quality, color and printing.
Their color matching capability made the designs unique and thus created a niche market for their products.

They started with job work and slowly but steadily kept increasing their capital funding through establishing factories in Jetpur, a city near Surat in Gujarat.
At the end, Mr. Surendra Kumar Pitty is very grateful to God n his Guru, owing all this success to them and his well wishers. He quotes, ” It’s their(family and friends) love and support which encourage us to create better than the best designs, not forgetting the unconditional blessings of the Supreme power in the form of my Guru. A big thank you to one and all. “
